STEP 6 – RELAXING THOSE MUSCLES

broken image

When you are stressed, your mood isn’t the only part of your body to feel it. Your muscles also react to stress and strain, even if it isn’t of the physical kind. At the end of a long day, a soothing massage with BLUE TANSY Essential Oil can help to soothe, calm and relax those tight, stressed muscles. It can also be a great way to end your exercise session!

SMOOTH AS SILK MASSAGE BLEND RECIPE

• 3 drops BLUE TANSY Essential Oil

• 1 drop Lemongrass Essential Oil

• 2 drops Massage Blend

• 2 tbsp. Fractionated Coconut Oil

Combine all ingredients in a small glass jar or container. To use: apply a small amount on the area of concern and gently massage into skin until absorbed.

If you can’t enjoy the benefits of BLUE TANSY Essential Oil in a massage, you can still do so by soaking in a relaxing bath and adding this next recipe to your bath water!

SOAK THE TENSION AWAY DETOX BATH RECIPE

• 3 drops BLUE TANSY Essential Oil

• 2 drops Frankincense Essential Oil

• 2 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

• 1 drop Hawaiian Sandalwood Essential Oil

• 1 c. Epsom Salt
• 1/2 c. Baking Soda

• 4 tbsp. Jojoba or Sweet Almond Oil

While running a hot bath, add the Epsom Salt, Baking Soda and Carrier Oil under the running water then add the Carrier Oil and Essential Oils. Swirl bath water to ensure that all ingredients are well incorporated throughout the water.

Soak in the bathtub for a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes to calm and soothe tired, sore muscles. Rinse off with cool water and pat dry.

BLUE TANSY Essential Oil is also an amazing Essential Oil to turn to when it is more than just your muscles that need soothing. If you find your joints need some attention apply BLUE TANSY Essential Oil topically to area of concern (just remember, it will turn your skin blue for a time, so dilute if you want to reduce the blue appearance).

Women apply BLUE TANSY Essential Oil topically over your abdomen when you experience the monthly discomforts to ease the muscle tension (also great for the head discomfort that can be associated with your monthly changes).
